The one class tickets are sold only at the ESF office based on
availability.

Beginners

I've never skied before.
My objective: Familiarise myself with the necessary
equipment and the mountain environment.
My aim is to ski on green runs, progressing
towards sliding snowplough. |
- To put on and take off my skis by
myself.
- To slide on a gentle slope and come to a natural stop.
- To change direction on the flat.
- To balance myself on one ski and then on the other.
- To begin to snowplough. |

I've already skied
for approximately one week.
I can snowplough without difficulty.
My objective: Control my speed and trajectories,
work towards skiing unassisted. |
- Sliding snowplough facing downhill.
- How to traverse
- Stem openings.
- Elementary uphill swing.
- Sliding uphill step turns. |
| Class 2 |
I've already skied for 2 to 3 weeks.
I can snowplough
turn and parallel my skis on blue runs.

My objective: Work towards parallel turns. |
- All types of sideslip.
- To plant my ski pole correctly and skating steps.
- To apply downward pressure during parallel turns
using the edges of my skis. |

I've already skied for more than 4 weeks.
I can ski parallel on red runs.
My objective: Ski in all snow conditions including
moguls and powder, and on all runs including off-piste.
I will also work on my technique. |
- Downhill step turns.
- Refined wedelns.
- To follow a set trajectory.
- To begin carving.
- To link a series of parallel turns. |
